The Williams Storage Group of Marcus & Millichap is pleased to announce the recent closing of Gorenflo Self Storage and A&K Self Storage in D'Iberville, Mississippi.
According to Matt Porter, "My buyer created scale with the recent acquisition of both A&K Storage City as well as Gorenflo Self Storage totaling 67,250 within a half of a mile."
Regarding A&K Self Storage, Porter said, "The Seller owns a portfolio of newer construction climate-controlled facilities in the south and this facility, located next door to one of their larger locations, no longer fit into operating model. They acquired A&K Mini Storage with intentions of managing both but soon found out that this facility just did not fit into their portfolio. We were able to source multiple offers from some very strong buyers which will enable the Seller to place their capital into some other projects."
